BMo Lays Down Some Kiwi-Themed 'Flowetry' Rhymes

When you come from Overseas,
The first thing you see,
is just trees and honeybees...

The words of Brian Monahan, AKA "BMo", KiwiConnect's resident rhyme-master-supreme, laying down his New Zealand-themed 'flowetry'!

The cause for BMo's surprise performance was to open a panel discussion in Wellington, on how we can boost New Zealand's startup ecosystem and make the country an attractive place for entrepreneurs, inventors, developers and creatives to flock to. He shared the panel with some heavyhitters in the entrepreneurial space, including Sam Altman, President of Silicon Valley-based accelerator programme Y Combinator; Scott Nolan, Partner at Founders Fund; and Rod Drury, CEO of Xero.

In this tribute to all things Kiwi, BMo covers off his passion for all the things that make New Zealand an amazing place to work and play, including the stunning natural vistas, happy sheep, and the fairness, compassion and honesty that you find within the business community.

In a country where it is literally 'tomorrow', down in timezone number one, BMo reminds us that as we look forward and walk boldly into 2015 that...

...You ain’t gotta live in New Zealand, to live Kiwi
