New Zealand goes to SXSW 2014!

New Zealand aims to attract world-class talent at the 2014 South by Southwest (SXSW) festival and conference.

It will be the first time in the history of SXSW for a country to be represented at the Trade Show.

This entrepreneurial effort is spearheaded by Immigration New Zealand (INZ) in partnership with New Zealand Technology Industry Association (NZTech) and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE).  Xero and KiwiConnect are proud patron sponsors of the New Zealand booth, with GrowWellington and WorkHere also supporting the effort by sending representatives to promote New Zealand.

The SXSW Trade Show in Austin, Texas, is expected to attract over 70,000 people who come from all over the world to attend the festival and conference.  With a concentration of highly talented individuals, SXSW is an ideal event to promote New Zealand as a country where talent wants to live.

Come visit us at booth #925 during the trade show, and we’ll plant a tree in your name in New Zealand!
