Kiwi Connect is bringing together global impact ventures in New Zealand.
Kiwi Connect was founded upon the simple belief that entrepreneurs have more opportunity and potential to create positive change in the world from Aotearoa New Zealand. We are a group of passionate entrepreneurs and change-makers helping others incubate and scale solutions to the most pressing challenges of our time. We provide personalised support if you wish to live, work, invest, or otherwise engage in New Zealand, connecting you to local entrepreneurial and investment communities.
A joint initiative between Kiwi Connect and the Hillary Institute of International Leadership, the Edmund Hillary Fellowship (EHF) offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for visionary entrepreneurs, investors and startup teams to live and work in New Zealand, to create scalable, positive global impact. Up to 100 international and 20 New Zealand-based Fellows will be selected each year to join a diverse community of exceptional entrepreneurs and investors. International candidates are invited to apply for a Global Impact Visa, a three-year open work visa for New Zealand, while all Fellows receive access to partner networks and individualised support to succeed in their ventures.
EHF launches in early 2017.
New Zealand is an ideal place to incubate transformative ideas, ventures and technologies. Its high integrity political and economic environments are robust, stable, globally connected, open and accessible. It provides ideal test markets and a well-educated population that embraces humility, resourcefulness, and creative problem-solving. Kiwis value individual responsibility, collective stewardship, and tolerance. Beyond its unmatchable quality of life, New Zealand places great importance on intergenerational well-being, making it a great place to establish deep roots as an individual or family.
Together with our international partners and ongoing relationships with Government and local startup ecosystems, Kiwi Connect is dedicated to helping solidify New Zealand’s reputation on the global stage as THE place to be to deliver transformative impact for the world. If you wish to work in New Zealand, build an enterprise, invest in exciting opportunities, or establish a base here, please direct enquires through the Edmund Hillary Fellowship website, as this is our flagship programme. If you have other questions about the work we do, get in touch here.
